Welcome to Kompani. By using the app you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable.

What Kompani is

Kompani helps groups plan a trip together — coordinating dates, lodging, preferences, expenses, and the logistics of the days on the trip. It is a planning and record-keeping tool.

Money: we never hold funds

Kompani is a ledger. It records who paid what and calculates who owes whom, but it does not process, hold, transfer, or move any money. All payments between members happen directly between you, outside the app, using whatever method you choose. Kompani is not a bank, payment processor, or money-transmission service, and is not responsible for any payment, non-payment, or dispute between members.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for the accuracy of what you enter. Invite links let others join your trip; only share them with people you trust. Don't use Kompani for anything unlawful, or to harass, impersonate, or harm others.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into Kompani (trip details, expenses, notes). You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it to your trip members so the app can function. You're responsible for having the right to share anything you upload.

Availability & changes

We work to keep Kompani running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, pause, or discontinue features. If these terms change materially, we'll let you know.

No warranty; limitation of liability

Kompani is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kompani and its makers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts beyond what you paid us (which, while the app is free, is zero).
